I chose the "Pig and Pepper " because I was very much influenced by the Tenniel Duchess , and thought it would be fun to draw a frog footman in Livery.

Wouldn't anyone love to draw a gruesome Duchess? Well it's not that easy. I went all the way back to what influenced Tenniel. Luckily our teacher has a book of Tenniel sources. His source looked like the duke put on the Duchess's clothes. In the end I came out with cross of a man and a bunny.

I made my Alice like me because I felt when I read Alice in Wonderland that Alice was like me. So I made her look like me.

The Cheshire Cat always has a grin. So anyone with a grin has to be cheery, and yellow and orange are cheery .

My footman in livery was as hard as the Duchess in a different way . I came to the conclusion that the head should be frog / fish and the body like a person's.

My pig baby is a pig with a bottle and a diaper, so that it looks like it was once a baby .
