Essay.

     My name is Bennett.  One day, my teacher, Ms. Edinger told us that we were going to make illustrations for a chapter in the book Alice in Wonderland.  I chose the chapter  "Pig and Pepper".  I picked it because I thought that it was funny in a way.  I drew the baby with the pepper pouring over him, I just liked the idea and that's the way I did it with every one of the pictures.

     I used colored pencils for my illustrations because marker and watercolor didn't work very well, and I like the soft texture that it makes on the paper.  My favorite illustrator is Barry Moser.  I like his pictures and the way he uses wood cuts.  I would have used wood cuts if we had any.

     I enjoyed the project and it made me want to do wood cuts.
