Hi my name is Adam.  I am a fourth grader at the Dalton Dchool. My class is studying Alice in wonderland.   My teacher read the book to us in class and we each followed along  in a book we chose.   Each book had a different illustrator so we could see the different illustrations with the same words.

During our study of Alice we did things like watch a video called Dream Child and went to the NYU library to look at some of the rarest versions of Alice in Wonderland. We also had a tea party later in our study. We had tea, hot chocolate and watched the Disney version to see the difference between the book and the movie.

My chapter was The Mad Tea Party. I like this chapter because I like how none of it makes any sense. I got my idea for my picture from John Tenniel because in one of his pictures of the Mad Tea Party he has a picture of a table with tea and cakes and other stuff.

I really liked this project.   I liked hearing the story and illustrating our own Alice in Wonderland.
