There are many characteristics of a hero. Here are some of them. They should be courageous because if they weren’t brave someone could be killed or hurt. Another one is that they sometimes have to risk their own lives to save other people’s lives. If someone was about to be shot a hero would go right in front of the gun and try and stop them, and if they failed then they would give up their life to save someone else’s. A hero should be very helpful because if a hero was watching TV all day tons of people would be killed or hurt. Heroes are very important people in our world.
The heroes in Charlotte’s Web are Fern and Charlotte. Charlotte is
a hero because if she didn’t write "Terrific", "Some
Pig," "Humble" and "Radiant" on her web, Zuckerman
would have killed Wilbur at Christmas time because they wanted to have
ham for Christmas night dinner. Fern is a hero because if she hadn’t
convinced Mr. Arable not to kill "the runt" the story would
have been really different because there wouldn’t be a Wilbur. If
there weren’t heroes in Charlotte’s Web the story would have
been very different.
The heroes in our lives today are the firemen and the policemen. The firemen
are heroes because if there weren’t firemen the earth wouldn’t
be as safe as it is now. The policemen are heroes because if there weren’t
policemen the earth would be polluted and laws would be broken. Firemen
and policemen aren’t just considered only heroes; now people are
considering them as real friends. The firemen were in the Twin Towers
for 1 hour before they collapsed. The firemen who got out of the Twin
Towers were very, very lucky but there were a lot of firemen who did not
get out. The firemen and policemen aren’t just heroes now they were
always good heroes but people have started to appreciate them more.
