A hero can be a person who saves people. A hero has to have strength, might, and a sense of justice. They should have a feeling that they want to rescue someone. A hero’s job is very helpful and dangerous. Heroes need to risk their lives to be heroes. They need to look brave. They would usually act brave because they are the ones who are saving us. They are the ones who are trying to make the world safe. They are the ones who are doing these jobs so we can be safe.
I think Charlotte is the hero in the book Charlotte’sWeb. She prevnts
Wilbur from being killed by the Zuckermans by spinning words on her Web
so the Zuckermans would think Wilbur was an amazing pig. The words on
the web were: Some Pig, Terrific, Radiant and Humble. Charlotte had tried
to think of words that describe Wilbur and that made the Zuckermans think
Wilber was special. Charlotte acted as if she really wanted to save Wilbur.
She stayed up all night spinning her web to save Wilbur. Charlotte had
to be brave all the time.
The heroes today are the firefighters and the rescue workers. Firefighters
and rescue workers are heroes because they rescued people who were close
to death, like people who were underneath the piles of the broken pieces
of the Twin Towers. Firefighters and rescue workers saved people’s
lives. Some firefighters and rescue workers lost their lives, or have
gone into the piles of the pieces from the Twin Towers and have not returned
yet. The firefighters and the rescue workers are very brave. They had
prepared for death and hoped for life. They were brave because they wanted
to save people. They had strong feelings, and interests in saving people’s
lives. There are heroes all over the world, and all of them must have
a kind heart.
