A hero can be a hero in different ways. One way is to save a life by taking a bullet meant for someone else. Another way is to do something kind or just be helpful. You are being kind by giving food to people who need it. An example of being helpful is by taking someone to places in your car who can’t walk.
In Charlotte’s Web I think that Charlotte is the hero because Charlotte
saved Wilber’s life by writing in her web. This made Wilber special
over all other pigs. She helped Wilber at the fair, by keeping Wilber
clam. She did this by telling him that he would win the fair. Charlotte
saved Wilber’s life by tricking Mr. Zukcerman and then by making
Wilbur famous. Charlotte feels triumphant near the end when Wilbur gets
his medal. That was Charlotte’s hour. These are the reasons why Charlotte
was the hero.
I think that the heroes of today are the rescue workers at the WTC because
they have been working at one of the most horrid places on Earth. They
have bean doing a heartbraking job. The police were also heroes because
they tried to get people out of the building. The firemen were out there
just when the fire started trying to save lives. They tried to get people
out of the building. Some lost their lives trying to do all they could.
We should remember them for the rest of our lives. That’s who I think
the heroes of today are.
