Heroes must have many qualities. A lot of people are considered heroes if they saved another being’s life. A hero must be brave. A hero has to know that they can reach their goal. They must do it saying and thinking that they can do it the whole way. A hero must also be strong. Not only must they be strong in the bones but strong in the brain. That means they must be smart so they know what they are trying to accomplish. They must also be willing which means they will do it and know that they have done a good thing. If a person or animal has all these qualities they are special and a hero.

There have been many disasters in our lives today and many that have helped. For example the WTC tragedy have made many people heroes. Some of the heroes of our lives today have been the policemen. They have been directing people out of the WTC and have saved some lives as well as risking their own. The firemen have been doing the same as the policemen as well as putting out the fire. The rescue workers have been doing the same as the policemen. Everyone has helped to clean up the site. I think we can also thank Guliani for giving his help and support. These people have done a lot for other peoples lives and a lot for their own. These people are heroes.

There are three heroes in Charlotte’s Web for reasons that all relate to each other. The reasons all relate to saving Wilbur’s life because that is the big conflict in the book. The first character who is a hero is Fern because she saved Wilbur when Mr.Arable was going to kill him with an ax. The second character is the Old Sheep for warning Wilbur and Charlotte that Mr. Zuckerman was going to kill Wilbur so Charlotte and Wilbur could make a plan to make it less likely. The last hero was Charlotte for doing a marvelous trick to convince Mr. Zuckerman that he had a very special pig and there was no way he could kill such a pig. All of these people/animals have helped to save Wilbur’s life so they are heroes.
