A hero is someone who can help you out when you need help and risks his or her life for other people. I think your parents are heroes. Because they help you and make the right choices for you, they will do almost anything for you. Also a hero is a person who cares for someone in a lot of ways. Another kind of hero are the firefighters who have saved a lot of people in the tragedy.
