I think a hero is someone who cares about other people and/or animals. For example
police care about helping people and saving people, same thing with the fire
department. They save people too, and sometimes even risk their lives to save
us. Even regular people like us can be heroes even if we just give a homeless
person food it can be saving their lives and that can make you a hero. I think
everybody who helped with the World Trade Center is a hero even if you just
gave a penny in it could help save someone who escaped the World Trade Center
and now has no money because he lost his job. And I think almost everybody is
a hero no matter if they helped their grandmother or gave 100 dollars to the
World Trade Center victims. All were all heroes.
