Heroes
I feel that all that has been happening is very disturbing to watch on T.V.
or to be involved in. The thing that happened to us with the WTC is so big that
it’s hard to believe it actually happened. It is also very hard to start
school at this time. I have to think about school but it always keeps on popping
back into my head. So far, almost everybody is dealing O.K.
I think a hero
in Charlottet’s Web Is Charlotte. For example, Charlotte tried to save
Wilbur’s life many times by writing words of encouragement in her web,
the words were "SOME PIG", "TERRIFIC", "RADIANT",
and "HUMBLE". Another example, was when Charlotte put her life at
risk and went to the County Fair when she should have been at home waiting to
lay her eggs. Finally, just Charlotte’s being there for Wilbur made him
feel safe.
I have many heroes
in my, life. The ones, who are other people’s heroes put out fires, and
also make people feel safe when they are near. Some of my heroes, maybe everyone’s
heroes, are the firemen. Some heroes are my own personal ones. Those heroes
might not save people or put out fires but sometimes it feels like they do.
These people might not save others but they do other things. Just them being
there can make me feel safe. I would say my brother but he’s more of a
good friend than a hero. (Sometimes he can be a hero.) Last, but not least,
my parents, step-parents, and grandfather are my heroes too.
