Return

Heroes are what keep the world turning. If we didn’t have heroes we would be stuck on one problem forever. Heroes solve problems. A hero has to be brave, courageous and willing to do something that might risk their life. A hero has to love and have confidence. Heroes sometimes sacrifice their lives when trying to complete their goal. I think it’s a shame that some heroes have to sacrifice their lives. I wish they could save lives without dieing. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. Heroes can be in books, made up or in reality. Heroes are what keep the world from being covered in darkness.

In the book Charlotte’s Web there are two specific heroes. They are Charlotte and Fern. They are both loving and that’s something you need to be a hero, because if you don’t love and have confidence there is no reason to do something good. Fern is one of the heroes, because if it weren’t for her Wilbur wouldn’t have lived. She convinced her father not to kill Wilbur. Fern had love for animals that no one else had and because of that Wilbur lived. After Fern left, Charlotte kept Wilbur’s life moving by teaching him and protecting him. By writing in her web she made the farmer realize that this wasn’t a pig to kill. She risked her life for Wilbur by going to the county fair. She could have got killed on the trip. Then Charlotte saved Wilbur by writing in her web at the county fair.

There are many heroes in the world, especially since the attacks. Some of my heroes are my mom, dad and brother because they all comforted me and made me feel safe. Some are the firemen for rescuing those people, and who were brave enough and who sacrificed their lives for other people. Some are the policemen/navy for protecting the U.S.A. from badguys. There are many heroes in the world but they all comfort me.
