Heroes have many characteristics. They do many things. Heroes are helpful. They help save people. They are brave when they climb high distances. Heroes risk their lives some times to save people. They are special because they can do so many things to help people.

The hero in Charlotte’s Web is Charlotte. Charlotte is Wilbur’s friend when he was lonely at the beginning of the book she said she would be his friend. Charlotte saved Wilbur’s life when he was going to die, in the book by righting words in her web. The words made Wilbur seem special to Zuckerman. Charlotte was nice to everyone, even Templeton, even though everone disliked him. Charlotte was clever too. In the book she thought of how to save Wilbur’s life. Charlotte was the best friend Wilbur could dream of.

The hero today is the fire and policemen that saved so many people on September 11,2001 at the in the World Trade Center. The fire and policemen risked their lives and some lost them to save people from the fire and collapsed buildings. Policemen keep people’s houses safe so no one can steal. The policemen and firemen are the most important people in my life at this time.
