Alice Essay   By Jared I read the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.  The book is about this girl named Alice. She was a real person. Her full name is Alice Liddell. She lived in Oxford. After I read the book my teacher told us we could pick one chapter to make into a play to perform in a toy theatre.  I chose The Mad Tea Party, I chose it because I’m a little mad myself, I also thought the chapter had cool illustrations, I especially like the illustrations of Lewis Carroll, John Tenniel, Barry Moser, and Peter Newell.  I like the book a lot.

Alice Essay by Sam              I was never crazy about Lewis Carroll's book, Alice in Wonderland. In fact I was never crazy about any fantasy book or story. So when our teacher Ms. Edinger said that we would be studying Alice in Wonderland I wasn't extremely happy about that. But then when we started I found it to be a lot of fun because a lot of artwork was involved, and I love drawing.  We started this unit in February. The thing I liked most about the Alice study was the toy theater part because that part had the most artwork involved in the backdrops, the characters. The chapter that my partner and me did for the Toy Theater was called The Mad Tea Party, and the characters were very fun to draw.  Its funny, I never liked the story but I liked the study.
