During our
Citizenship classes this year, we have been discussing the different rights
and responsibilities of being a citizen--of the classroom, of The Dalton School,
of the city, and even of the world. By examining the Ethical Pricipals of the
Dalton School (see below), the children of Wang House thought about how these
"rules" can make our school a safe and productive environment for
everyone. We hope you enjoy our interpretations and drawings of the various
aspects of being a good community member!
Members of the Dalton Communitystudents, parents, teachers, staff and
Administratorswill realize the ethical principles of School:
1. Practice integrity and responsibility;
2. Affirm the value of diversity
3. Act with compassion
4. Develop confidence to take risks
5. Encourage leadership;
6. Make responsible choices
7. Value truth, learning and authenticity.
