Culminating Projects
After each trip to the Gates the children wrote responses, often poems, in their booklets. Small copies of the photos were added so that each booklet will be a primary source document of the children's experience with The Gates. For the final collage, the children were shown examples of concrete poetry as a possible way to approach the collage. As you can see below, each child approached the culminating project somewhat differently, some using poems, others composing new ones, and still others creating other wonderful projects.
