Media Arts Program

The art program at Dalton School offers students a variety of media arts experiences from traditional filmmaking to new media design. Classes cover topics such as producing documentary and narrative videos, mixing sound, shooting super 8 film and making animations. Students use computer technology to create movies, to learn editing skills, and to design interactive programs and web sites. After completing introductory classes, media arts students may choose to continue doing independent projects by producing a senior media arts project in film, video, installation or performance.
