Vietnam Stories

Oral History Media Art Project - 2004

Beginning Video students created video "stories" derived from personal real-life experiences of the Vietnam War era. These stories came from oral histories that were recorded from live interviews or read from documents such as letters, diaries, poems, magazines or news articles. They were illustrated using found footage and historical pictures. The objective of the project was to create a piece that reflected, in some way, a feeling for the time.
